Lots of people when they really get into bands and have favorite musicians tend to start emulating their lifestyles and such.

I went through a Brian phase. There was this one summer ... at the beginning of it I bought like six boxes of plain donuts and finished them within a week. I just started eating tons of junk food. One day after missing sleep for a few days I heated up a corn dog and walked outside at 6am as the sun was rising. I hallucinated a cat. I was chubby and delusional. I blame it all on Brian Wilson, he's a horrible influence, really. I was listening to SMiLE stuff all the time and thought the reclusive Brian Wilson thing was something worth doing myself.

So glad I woke up from that dream.  Cheesy

Perhaps I'll go through an Al phase and read some books on teeth.

Grin brilliant post and photo... when I was much younger, I tried to take on a 'Brian look'... but my point of inspiration was a bit odd, namely the photo of Brian on the back of the 'Holland' LP sleeve. So I tried to look brooding, lonely, 'difficult', what have you.

Around 1988, after a diffcult period in my life, I was very touched with the idea of a 'come-back'. Just when Brian had his 'come-back' under the aegis of Landy. I jogged a lot etc. etc. So that again was kind of a Brian-period.

My winter coat is inspired by Brian's coat on the Pet Sounds cover:

Guilty -  i have been known to drop 'and then we'll have world peace' onto the end of simple requests for things like the time or a cup of tea  Cool

Hehe... inspirational. I will from now on say: 'Can Someone Bring A Horse In Here?' whenever there's some dispute on the horizon, at home, and at work...

I'm going through a Brian phase right now -  I do as I'm told by my partner and try to remember to smile when in company.

When I was younger had thicker hair and Brian's build circa Pet Sounds  I guess I thought I looked a little like him but I never combed my hair to the side or down. Now I have a red beard am thinner build wise and hair wise I guess I (GASP) look a little more like Mike. Not really though (thankfully) I probably have more hair then he did by Smile at least. Grin

I'm still going through my Dennis phase in that I've always been attracted to drummers. Even dated a couple of them in my day. None could match up to Dennis tho. I must admit tho, that Mike D'Amcio is looking really good to me!!!!

Not sure if this qualifies, but I probably quote Murry most frequently. Things like, "I have 3,000 words to say." Drives my girl nuts.

I always wanted to grow a beard like Mike's circa 1970. I have gotten about half way there, but it seems to stop growing at some point. I even wore a white robe to a Halloween party and came as Mike Love. What could be more scary then him?

Has anyone ever visualized Murry Wilson getting his hump on? In what position do you think the mother and father of the Beach Boys reached their climax to conceive each child? Was Murry a doggystyle sort of fella? Did he enjoy having his nipples touched? Were they into Vegetables like Brian?

At one point very  early in my Brian phrases any shirts with blue and stripes I bought. Stupid things like that made me realize what a nerd I was for that band LOL!

I wrote it while eating my breakfast! I finished my glass of milk while thinking about Murry Wilson's orgasm face.

You know, you really need some help. A regular psychiatrist couldn't even help you. You need to go to, like, Vienna or something. You know what I mean? You need to get involved at the University level. Like where Freud studied, and have all those people looking at you and checking up on you. That's the kind of help you need. Not the once-a-week-for-eighty-bucks kind. No. You need a team — a team of psychiatrists working 'round the clock thinking about you, having conferences, observing you — like the way they did with the Elephant Man. That's what I'm talking about, because that's the only way you're going to get better.

Murry was likely a "two pump chump",  Shrug as well as a serial voyeur, shoe sniffer
and biter.

Nipples, veggies,  LOL. Thanks for the laughs, nobody - well executed and played.
