Not about a breakup, just a wish that they shall never part.

Hmmmmm, I always read that as a breakup song. It just sounds so melancholy.

I think I say this in answer to any question, but once again it's Kiss Me Baby! Break up and make up again!

County Fair is an awesome song that happens to have breakup type thing at the end (though I don't think they were "going steady" anyway), but it's definitely not a breakup song.

And I think Let the Wind Blow is more of a "don't break up with me" song.

"Caroline, No"- the saddest song ever written.

Makes "Old Shep" sound like "The Safety Dance".

Almost every Beach Boys mix CD I make for anybody includes the "break-up" theme, which includes the following 4 songs in this order:

- Wendy
- The Warmth Of The Sun
- Help Me, Rhonda
- Kiss Me, Baby

"surfs up"- the breakup of Brians innocence, and
"day in the life of a tree" recognizing his true fallen nature and the inabillity of mankind to do anything about it......besides admit that we are sinners who need salvation thru the grace, faith and blood of Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of Jesus Christ...Sin & Rebellion is in the heart of every boy and girl....everywhere all around the world!!
