Any "Bauhaus" fan out there?

The grandmasters of Gothic, my favourite songs are "Silent Hedges", "Kick In The Eye", "Terror Couple Kill Colonel", "She´s In Parties" and of course "Bela Lugosi´s Dead".

And "Ziggy Stardust"!

Hope to see them while they are on tour in 2006, what are your favourite songs/albums by Peter Murphy and co.?

Love em.
I'm a "Passion Of Lovers" fan, myself.
But I love every track.

Love, love love. I *did* see them on this most recent tour, and they SLAYED. I saw them last time through, too, and saw L&R a couple times as well. Love THEM as well, just about every note everybody's ever done in that band.

Right on.
And for any Bauhaus people, grab the new album by She Wants Revenge.

"The passion of lovers is for death, said sheeeeeeeee..." Yup, great song!

Old Rake, which concert was better, the  one from 1998 or 2006? Where did you see "Bauhaus"?

I'm not a huge fan, but my brother is. I went to one of their reunion shows last year with him and was very impressed. Some of their songs I like a whole lot (I don't know the names of any of them), but they've also got quite a few songs that are too pretentiously over-gothicized for my taste. I can't say it's my favourite genre at all, but they're a great band nonetheless, but not a band where I could ever see myself picking up one of their albums and listening to it, if you know what I mean.

2006 was better, but they were both great, great shows.

I saw 'em in Minneapolis, at the State Theater both times.

And you don't have to put quotes around "Bauhaus" there -- they're all the original band members!

A co-worker walked by while I was listening to "She's In Parties" and asked "she's in panties? what's that?"
