“My favourite is always God Only Knows (What I'd Be Without You),” says Brian. “I always enjoy that song, because it's about love. I want to write and record a new album of rock and roll songs all about love.”

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

i've read that elsewhere, so i guess it's legit. if somewhat out of character for the Wilson patriarch....

What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

It just seems odd to include a 40-year-old quote from a deceased family member in such a short feature interview (and misspelling the name at that).

They got the spelling of Murry right the first time, then changed it to Murray right after that, ha.

That's a nice little interview, thanks for posting.
