Let's get a lot of participaiton on this!

The BB did many great covers. But if you had to pick JUST ONE what would you pick? I was seriously torn between two ("Just Once in My Life" coming in second) but my VERY favorite would have to be "Hushabye," mainly because Brian is so angelic on it.

Whaddya think?

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

"Just Once In My Life" is pretty good.  I also really like "I Can Hear Music," and "I'm So Young."  If unreleased is allowed, I like "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin," even though it is solo Brian, it is awesome.

Very tough call, but I would say either "Sloop John B" or "Why Do Fools Fall In Love."  Brian was a master at taking other people's songs and making them his own.

Probably not their best, but I have to say I just love their unreleased rendition of "Calender Girl". Easily among the most rocking synth intros ever.

Oh GOD yes...that is my favorite Brian vocal after the "classic" era.

Probably I Can Hear Music..... I have a soft spot for the single version of Cotton Fields though, those drums are brilliant.

Sloop John B. does it for me.  Man, that arrangement is just killer.  Each verse has a completely different feel, the vocal break is great, I just love it.

Not necessarily in this order:

Papa Oom Mow Mow (maybe cheesy, but true - I could watch Brian performing this on The Lost Concert all day long!)  Razz
Sloop John B
Why Do Fools Fall in Love
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' (agree with the above - fantastic vocal)
and I also can't get enough of this at the moment - obviously never officially released and Brian sounds like he's having a little fun, not taking it too seriously, but it sounds GOOD!:  Grin
