There's a site that purports in its title to give the lyrics for "Banana et Louie," but in the text claims that the lyrics are "not available yet."
http://www.uulyrics.com/music/the-beach-boys/song-banana-et-louie/

I've been trying to decipher these lyrics for years, and was excited when I thought I had finally found a source for them -- only to be disappointed.

Is it possible the site is working on this, and just hasn't figured the lyrics out yet?  Has anyone else been able to understand them?

Didn't it go like this:
Brian: Chuck, can we possibly bring a horse in here?
Chuck: I beg your pardon?

Don't forget Carl's line: "Brian, my horse would be so bitchin' in here!"

You all are thinking of the track called "Dog Barking Session."  "Banana et Louie" is only 5 seconds, and Banana and Louie are the only ones with "vocals" on the track.

Louie: arf arf arf, arf arf?
Banana: arf, arf arf, arf.
Louie: arf, arf arf arf, arf!

Got it?

Plus, to my knowledge, Carl never had a horse, but in 1966, Dennis did.

The one by Charles Granata?  Yeah that's a great book, one of my favorites.

This here: http://www.thebeachboys.com/discography_detail.aspx?upccode=724383766222 says the track is called Banana et Louie, but the track I have is Banana & Louie. Is that different? (I know "et" is "and" in French, I'm just noting that one has an ampersand in it.) If it is, I'm guessing the Banana et Louie one is what Jeff said, just another take of the dogs barking. Banana & Louie is also 5 seconds long and Brian says, "Uh, let's get Louie and Banana really wailin'."

The internet is an international place and a casual place. Even though it's "Banana & Louie", someone submitted it to the lyric site might have felt like using the word the ampersand represents. A French-speaking person would see "Banana & Louie" as "Banana et Louie". I don't think it's a different track.
