CHRIS FARMER RELEASES "STAR SPANGLED BANNERS" + bonus track
LOS ANGELES, CA — With the 4th of July celebrations now behind us, Chris Farmer is keeping
the spirit of America alive with the cd single release of two different versions of "The Star Spangled Banner"
exclusively at his web site ChrisFarmerMusic.com.
Utilizing his extensive experience as the former music director of America's band, The Beach Boys, Chris has recorded a doo-wop and traditional version of the American classic. In addition, Chris and his corporate event group, "The OC" Beach Band (
www.theocbeachband.com), were asked to record a new song honoring Huntington Beach called, "HB! A Surf City Tale". The song, written by a local composer, honors the city of Huntington Beach, CA, its history, and its nickname "Surf City USA." This version of the song, which Chris performs all the instruments and sings all the vocal parts, was played from the International Surfing Museum's float during the city's Centennial Fourth of July Parade.
