Anybody see Walk Hard:  The Dewey Cox Story?  Parody of all the music biopics.  Especially Walk the Line but with references to Beatles, and Brian Wilson.   Funny and funny.  You'll never see another music biopic in the same way. LOL

Yeah I saw it, that was my favorite part!  The whole movie was hilarious, but the Brian/BB parody was dead on.  He even pullled off the mid-70's Brian look quite well.

The Brian/SMiLE part was the best. You can tell that the writers were big music fans. And did you know, the song that they do during the Brian section- 'Black Sheep'- was co-written by VDP?

I'm guessing Tommy Cash wasn't the one that died...Johnny's little brother is still touring the world...

Yeah, Tim Meadows face is priceless in that scene - haha I also love where the original members of Dewey's group are waiting for their cue, take
a breath, "Black sheep, OOOOOOO"

"I think that goat's been singing on this song more than I have!"

The Beatles scene is ridiculous, but so hilarious. Jack Black as Paul McCartney? classic!

Tenacious D used to play the song cycle from Abbey Road as their encore, and they did a bang up job on it.

I've read/heard for a long time about how good this movie is.  That nine minute clip is one of the funniest things I can remember ever seeing.  Thanks for posting the link!

I'm surprised Mike and Bruce gave that nerd so much time. They both know when the camera is in the room, that's for sure. Otherwise the responses would have been much different. Having spent many years in the TV news biz, it's a shame to see such underdeveloped reporters on the street. Especially in a major market like Atlanta. First clue was the limp-wristed handling of the microphone. It should be thrust towards the speakers mouth not moved around like a wet noodle. Very un-professional. Not to mention his interview job. "What's going to be your last song?" Get the hook!

Do many years in the TV news biz help a person double-check his work so as not to post in the wrong threads?
