That was BEYOND terrible. I actually like Coldplay, but that was truly pathetic.

That was pretty bad.  Nice sentiment, but it just didn't work.  Nobody should try to sing like MJ...they almost always fail.

Oh.. okay.  Anyway, Chris isn't so bad on it, but the instrumental backing- ick!  Pete Doherty's much flawed and embarrassing renditions are far better than this.  I liked Chris Martin in Extras, and the first couple of albums were decent.

I was about to say that this wasn't bad for an obvious throw-together until that ridiculous excuse for a guitar solo kicked in. They should have kept it at one verse/one chorus and moved on to something else.

OOOOHHHHH YEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

And here's a much better cover of Billie Jean, done by ex-Barenaked Ladies keyboardist Andy Creeggan, the song starts around 1:15:

Chris Martin married Gwyneth Paltrow. That is why I hate the man, because I am in love with Gwyneth. I am planning to purchase a house next to the Martins. Then I will buy a telescope and a super-high-definition digital camera.

Don't get me wrong. I am normal. Just like everyone else here.

It's a reference to the 40-Year-Old Virgin. "You know how I know you're gay? You like Coldplay!"

Another ex-Barenaked Lady (this time it's recently departed frontman Steve Page) covering Billie Jean...this one is also better than Coldplay's cover...
