Pretty good, pretty, pretty good  Grin

Obviously a bullshit list, but it's better than nothing.

Normally I'd say that #43 is way too low a ranking for GOK on a "best songs of all time" list, but since this is mostly a rock-oriented list with a lot of recent music (90s-00s) it's actually pretty good...

I reckon it's important to note that triple j is a youth orientated station and for the youth (read mid teens to late 20s as station demographics) to vote in this pattern it is a pretty good result and restores my faith in the youth of our nation (Australia).

EDIT: Having just trolled through the entire Hot 100 as always its easy to critisise any list .. "where's this?", "where's that?", "how did that get in there?" or "what no (insert name of favourite artist here)?" but i just have to say for an Australian list --- "where is The Triffid's Wide Open Road?", "what no Go-Betweens? Cattle & Cane anybody?" and "what's with all the Jeff Buckley, how about a bit of daddy Tim love?" ........ ahhh, at least as a nation we still Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart, there is hope in this world!
