i was looking at one of those water damaged billboards i looked at to help with the chart positions last month. the april, 23rd 1983 issue in fact. i happened to glance at the boxscore section that week (on page 38) and the beach boys were listed twice. the march 30th show in jackson, mississippi was at the west mississippi coliseum. a group named windows opened the show.
just for trivia it grossed $79,973 with 7,240 tickets sold out of 9,138 available.

the may 7th, 1983 issue had on page 48 the boxscore section. beach boys listed twice. their april 5th and 7th shows were opened by group/person (?) called luba. the april 5th show was a sellout.

Steve-thanks for that-that Jackson info is great.  I think they are wrong about the Apr 7 1983 show though. I obtained an ad and review of the Fredericton show-it was opened by the Nylons

all i know ian is that boxscore section twice had luba listed as the opening act at those shows.
again, just passing along what i see listed in print when i find something.... 

use it as you see fit but you have far more stuff collected on this stuff than i did...
