So I watched the TLOS DVD last week with a good buddy of mine who is also a major fan, and after the performance they show a shot of the crowd.

He asked me "Is that Mike?!?"    So I rewound and freeze-framed it and sure enough... some middle aged guy in a Hawaiian shirt and ball cap, who in a fuzzy profile view, looks like it could possibly be the Lovester.

I know it probably isn't,  but could it be that Mike was in attendance that day?!?  It does kinda look like him, but was unable to get a decent enough freeze-frame to tell for sure...

Anyone know what I'm talking about and feel like chiming in here?

If the Beatles had suffered this kind of misrepresentation, they would have never got past singing 'Please Please Me' and 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' and leaping around in Beatle suits."

....who just happens to be Mike Love! It all makes sense now! Grin

You may have something there. I think this may be Mike talking to Taylor after the gig.

Has Mike ever been to a BW concert? Or BW to a Mike & Bruce concert?

It took me 1.5 seconds looking at that picture to identify the kisser. It is none other than Mr. Hugh Hefner. Easy one.

At the Brian shows I've been to, everyone either looked like Mike, Dominic Priore, or Jeff Foskett.... if Mike was in charge of wardrobe.

Very funny, very true. I have a friend who looks a bit like the guy from the circa 2000 "Make 7-Up Yours" 7-Up ads: (at the time, late 20s), black, braids, but in kind of slacker/hipster dress most of the time. He accompanied to the 2004 Mpls Smile show, and gods, did he have a field day mocking...

Hahah!!!

Lots of bald heads, Hawiian shirts, and differences of opinion!

Btw, I was the only late 70s David Marks lookalike that I saw!

I kind of had a late 60s BW thing going on: shaggy head, sideways smirk and belly.

Well, I WAS gonna say "I was the only late 70s Dennis lookalike" but then I figured I ought to be honest.  Razz
