Alan's last Beach Boys show - need help.

Bit of a dilemma here - a few years ago I was told that Alan's last show with the BB was May 9th 1998. However...

1 - that was the same day as Brian's St. Charles show, where Bruce was a guest...

2 - there doesn't seem to have been a BB show that day anyway... and...

3 - Alan wasn't present at a private gig on May 6th.

So, anyone got a better idea of when the last BB/AJ gig was ?

I dug this info up in an old e-mail from Emdeeh:

May 3, 1998 -- Ritz Carlton Buckhead, Atlanta, GA (private show)
May 9, 1998 -- Detroit, MI (charity)

Not sure if the Detroit show ever happened.

From a different e-mail from a different person:

Al played one gig with the band in '98...an American Cancer Society benefit in Carl's memory in Detroit...so that would apparently be the last time.

Possible indeed - Detroit & St. Charles aren't a million miles away from each other.

If Bruce did both shows, that would be very interesting, because that would mark Bruce's last shows with Al & Brian, both on the same date.
