I just heard the song on the web link. The arrangement is pretty faithful. I really like the way he sings Wonderful but not Song for Children.

How do you listen to the song on the Chartattack site?

It says "listen to the song below" but isn't clear as to exactly how. Huh

Just click on the little black arrow, wait a couple of seconds and it should start playing automatically.

I for one am a sucker for anyone covering Smile songs.  I thought this Rufus version wasn't half bad.  Now I want him to cover the rest of the record.  Someplace on Youtube I once heard an acoustic and vocal version of the Americana part from BWPS.  I liked that too.

Yeah that acoustic version was great. I'm not so keen on this Rufus cover - I think where Brian's adult-child nature sort of heightens the innocent beauty of the composition, Rufus' high camp vocal just makes it sound really kitsch.

I'd rather see Dave Lee Travis play Macbeth

not sure if this is up still but it's on this site http://hayatbayat.blogspot.com/2009/02/war-child-heroes.html

though, this is for a charity.  So a one song itunes buy wouldn't hurt!  on the war child: heroes album.  Supposedly Brian picked him to play these songs, but maybe it was Van Dyke's idea since Van Dyke did do the arrangements for Rufus' debut.

ALSO, i read a list from Rufus on his favorite songs, and there's the expected weird mix, but the last song he said was "In My Room".  i thought that was cool.

you can hear Wilson-esque stuff in his music anyway.

Better than the original, Wonderful certainly is anyway. I've always hated Look anyway so doubt anyone could do it justice.

Thanks for upload.
