This is aimed mainly at someone like c-man, or just anyone else who thinks they can help out... I was going through some of the session musicians that the band has used over the years and noticed a few (what I assume are) mistakes where they have several different spellings of their name. So if anyone can give me a definitive answer on which is the correct spelling I'd be really appreciative. There are more that I can't think of off the top of my head right now but I'll post them if I think of them.

Is it Bernard Kondell or Bernard Kundell?
Is it Lou Klass or Lori Klass?

Bernard Kundell, according to the AFM sheets for I`ll Be Home For Christmas/Jingle Bells/Frosty The Snowmen/Christmas Eve, Summer Means New Love, Stella By Starlight/How Deep Is The Ocean.

Btw, Kundell also contributed to Frank Zappa´s "Lumpy Gravy", The Monkees´ "Instant Replay" and many, many more.

It is indeed Bernard Kundell, as spelled on many AFM contracts.   I'm positive it's Lori Klass, but at the moment I can't locate any contracts with that name, and can't recall which songs she (or he) was on...could you jog my memory, and then I'll look?  Thanks.

I thought it was Lou Klass, a violinist who also played on sessions with Nat "King" Cole and Dean Martin.

OK, I found a couple, and you're right, Sheriff.  I think it was spelled "Lori Klass" on the album slick for "15 Big Ones", but on the contracts for "Talk To Me Medley" and "That Same Song"/"Don't Fight The Sea", it is Lou Klass.  I could see how someone might misread it as Lori though.  But it's Lou.
