Sorry if anyone has posted this, but I didn't notice anything. Today, Alan Boyd is the guest on luxuriamusic.com's "Heroes and Villains" show, which will be hosted by Chuck Kelley. It's on from 3-4 p.m. Central time. (4-5 Eastern, 1-2 Pacific ... if you're elsewhere, figure it out yourself!) I think it's live, but am not 100% sure on that. There's a chat room there that can on occasion be lively, so stop by there, too.

Nothing to get excited about, unfortunately. Basically, he has no idea what, if any, Capitol rarities (or other) projects may be in the works. Kind of glossed over the non-appearance of beachboyscentral.com although it was pretty obvious he's not standing in the way: made mention of how great it would be to have different, previously unreleased streaming audio and/or video playing. Discussed Wouldn't It Be Nice to Live Again. Mentioned how possible and cool a Smile box would be, but also said there was nothing happening on that front. That it gets brought up from time to time but never goes far (even though he said it would be one of the more commercially viable projects they could do). It was interesting, but not heartening.

I don't know. I am not sure if I'll be there. But I don't recall there being any special guests--not even sure if it's live, or even a new recorded show.
