Has anyone been over at the blue board* in the past few days.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ posted an article about Brian, and I'm gonna be honest..it was pretty funny, something like 'help him, Rhonda please' ha ha.

But now it's outrage over there, people heading over to TMZ so they can defend Brian in the comment box etc, one lady even admitting 'let us worry about Brian, we have to care for him'..which has since vanished.

Anyway that place is so weird, well it can be fun, but still creeps me out.

My favorite comment is "This is like criticizing Stevie Wonder for being blind."

I don't think all those comments are from Blueboarders... I can see random unaffiliated readers saying the same thing.

Well only a few on the TMZ  site are from Blueboarders, but over on Brian's site you can see the fuss that's being made.

I don't see anything particularly strange in the photo at all. It is Brian, October 2008, and he looks questioning about an unexpected photo being taken. In fact he looks much more like a normal human being than 99% of all celebrities would in that situation (you know: the forced smile (or rictus) like Jack Nicholson's in Batman, and (the girls) bending knees and showing some cleavage within a fraction of a second, like trained apes).
In other words: our celeb-addicted world has become pretty sick regarding the nature of its expectations.
Thank God for ordinary people like Brian Wilson.

I just want to point out that a lot of the comments about TMZ on the blueboard seem to be from new names, which suggests that some people saw that TMZ photo and then went to Brian's board (for the first time) to vent about it. There are also comments on the blueboard defending the photo.

The article wasn't THAT bad...anybody looking for their car looks like that.  I don't generally condone what TMZ does, but the whole thing seems innocent enough.

I think Brian is allowed to be human. Some of them blueboarders also seem to think Brian is something almighty and always has to be perfect or something. Brian is allowed to be normal lol.

I wish I had so many people that loved me that  unconditionally and fiercely.

But seriously, who hasn't gone off to the store to grab something quickly and not bothered to change clothes or suck in his gut in case a photographer catches you unaware?

I guess celebs are SUPPOSED  to be ready for the camera at all times.   Wanna see some bad photographs?  Look at the tabloids in the check out lines.,.. I'll bet they pay extra for unflattering snapshots.

From the comments:
Quote
The endless parking lot. - Brian sings about the day he got lost, looking for his car in the endless parking lot. Along the way, he finds a beachbum begging for money, then finds his car, and drives away into the sunset.

Not to be stupid, but that would make a great song if he did it now. "Endless Parking Lot". It's almost like the perfect antithesis of "Endless Summer".

I like the first comment on the story. Swiftly putting TMZ in their place.

Copied and pasted here:

"1. TMZ, I think you mean "wandered" the parking lot. Trying to save some dough in these tough times by skimping on editors, eh. Ah, all the news that is fit to misprint. The guy's had issues, but has still contributed more to the world than anyone at TMZ can ever dream to.

That's awesome. I hate TMZ.

I don't think Brian looks too much different there then in any other recent photo. Also, let the man do his normal duties.

God, I hate the paparazzi.

I'm reminded of the scene in the movie 'The Big Chill'

Something like 'I work for a magazine where no story should take longer to read than the average cr@p!'

I say he's ready for the beard again.  It appears that's all he's missing, aside from singing with the surviving Beach Boys anyway....

God bless B'Dub!!!

If you say this one more time I'll release that Polaroid of you sitting on the loo and having a big stinking brown mountain just beneath you.

LOL. But seriously, my parents are Brian's age. If I ever saw them wandering like that in a parking lot I'd be very worried.
