BBC Radio 1 has updated its chart listing, which only lists the top 40...and sadly TLOS is out of the UK top 40.

I have still seen no advertising whatsoever over here...though Brian made a nice appearance in the More 4 show "Live at Abbey Road" late Friday night.

When the official UK chart company's website is updated, we will know where TLOS is. I am guessing 50's.

I'm kidding, just bothers me how badly it's been promoted in the UK, but I guess i'm over it now.

Alas not even in the Top 100.

Miserable effort by EMI UK.  Angry

Well I think Capitol has been so big on getting his sales large in the US, they totally skipped everything else. Kind of a shame really. I mean yes it's nice the US is realizing his greatness, but even I admit the UK has more love for him then we do. They really could have done better.

Anyone manage to see this show on the telly? I've been searching for it and it doesn't appear to be online. Any ideas...?

I'm amazed it ever got there anyway.  So, massive kudos Bri!

Outside of BWPS -- which certainly had an epic appeal -- BW solo efforts are really only for his adoring fans...I would think.

Which is why I wish they would forgo the attempt to sound commercial anyway.  Either get that super polished, pitch-correcting, production wizardry like Imagination, or just forget it...and go back to the avant garde, Love You, Adult Child world.

Everything else is a compromise.

Imagination reached #30 in the UK charts. GIOMH also charted.

Wonderful made #29 in the singles chart as a 45rpm vinyl only release.

Brian is a reasonable commercial proposition in the UK. He's unlikely to score a massive hit, but he usually charts quite well. With a product as good as TLOS, a product I believe has some wide-ranging appeal, one week at #37 is pretty weak.
