Yep. That's one ways we know what a mix of drugs BW was on. As I recall, BW had to go off everything he was taking to be stable to go under, and the doc was horrified at what Landy had him taking.

Apparently Brian had an operation on a crushed cheekbone (and one can assume possibly had a lift at the same time).

Also, he said he experienced the worst pain of his life after being taken off his meds in 1989...

I knew about the lift, and I knew about the crushed cheekbone(ouch!), but forgot exactly what had caused it.

I'm also pretty sure he had surgery to remove excess skin from the weight loss around '85-'86.  There is a TV performance before BW88 (I'll have to get look it up to remind me of which one) where you can see the tightness and a little stitching on his neck.
