Carl grew his beard in the summer of 1970. I think that picture was taken in the sprng of 1970. Lady the first Brian one is from 1971 and the second taken from the back of Holland so yes that is 1972.
Here are some pictures of Brian between 1970-75. If someone wants to post them on here that's fine. I can help date them better then. I also put a shot of Carl growing back his beard in 1977. In 1970 Brian seemed more fit then he had since Pet Sounds. He looked happy too. By 1975 he had gained around 100 pounds.

Don't know if anyone posted this yet, but I just found it and think it's very interesting. The blog it was on didn't give much info except that it was from '68 on tour in Ohio. I so wanna know the story behind this one!!!
