Next week I'm going out on my first full national tour in 5 years, behind the DAYLIGHT KISSING NIGHT ALBUM.

This is basically a solo tour, though some of my band will be with me at a few of the dates and I'll also be working with some local musicians along the way.  The band dates will be mostly in the midwest, northeast and southwest.

My plan is to do a few Carl and Dennis tunes from LONG PROMISED ROAD in the middle of the set, and invite some local players/singers up to help fill out the sound.  If you know someone who might fit the bill, please get in touch with me at adamghost@aol.com.

If you're in the area, I hope you'll make it down.  Here are the dates; we're working on some more and they'll be posted at www.myspace.com/adammarsland.  We also still have some holes in the schedule -- if anyone knows of openings in those areas when we'll be there, please shoot me an e-mail.

The Living Room in NYC... is that something you have to buy tickets to, or is it pay at the door?

The deal there as I understand it is that it's free to get in, but there's a $5 suggested donation....there's a hat passed.

Aw damn Adam, you are coming to Philly THE DAY I am starting college 5 hours away. Pretty hilarious you are going to be with Peter Tork though. I saw him back in 2006 with James Stanley. Interesting show it was. Oh well, I am sure it will be a blast for those who get to go!

Hi Adam -- Before I ask this question let me say that the Dennis-Carl show (sic) was great in the summer of 2006.  GREAT!...not just pretty good or something similar.

Alan Boyd, Evie Sands, John Perry, Kurt Medlin and Teresa Cowles were your band when I saw you guys then.  What, if any, changes in personnel are in store for the upcoming tour?  Thanks.  I'm sorry you're not coming to Tulsa!  You put on a show I'd like to see.

You're the second person today to tell me we should have come to Tulsa!  Had I only known.

As I said in the post above, this is basically a solo tour.  I'd love to bring the whole band out but frankly, I would lose my shirt if I did...the Wilson tour was a special case because a few brave souls basically underwrote the tour, and of course with gas at $4.50 a gallon it's risky just as it is....and I'm a full-time musician now with no day job to fall back on, so I have to be very cautious about not overextending myself.  I've been hoping that a few really good paying gigs would enable me to bring the entire band out from L.A. but that hasn't happened yet.  It's still possible, but probably not likely.  Evie is on standby, though, if that comes to pass.  I do think Evie will probably be on the Arizona shows but nothing's set in stone yet.

Teresa Cowles from the Chaos Band is definitely going to be on the middle third of the tour.  Charlie Zayleskie, a keyboardist who did part of the '04 tour with us, will be on some shows.  There's also a drummer from Philadelphia named Jon Braun who's going to be on about 7 shows.
