I just got my first Mac shortly after Christmas, and I've become quite a GarageBand fan! I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means (indeed, it was only two or three days ago that I realized that if you want a loop to repeat, you don't have to keep dragging into the track but instead just stretch it!), but I really love it! I'm recording my first "desktop" album with it [God help us all]...right now I'm working on an instrumental tribute to the Chicago Transit Authority that has kind of a "Plumber's Song" feel to it....I'm sure Eck would be proud!

Check out my podcasts: Tune X Podcast (tunex.fab4it.com) and Autobiography of a Schnook (SchnookPodcast.com); there are worse things you can do!

I've been using it lately and love it.

Haven't really completed anything yet though. I mostly do piano by ear. Need some lessons quick  LOL

I love garageband.  It's a great website and I've discovered a lot of new music there.  Here's my band's page:

I'm thinking about getting a Mac at some point in the near future.  I've never really liked computer based recording programs, but I hear really good things about GarageBand.

Would you say its pretty easy to use, just on a basic level?
