I pre-ordered my copy months ago. Glad it's finally completed.

Sorry for the delay... but Chris and Jeff Peters remixed the entire cd.
I was impressed with the way Barbara Ann now starts with an acapella intro.
Chris re-recorded the intro to the song thanks to feedback from people (like you) who pre-ordered the sampler.

you're thinking of Chris Farley I believe. Farmer was the bassist for the current Beach Boys/Mike & Bruce show for a while

Thanks, I know - I was just being a jackass.  (My usual contribution to this board).

I actually didn't know he'd been in the Mike and Bruce band, though, so thanks!  I'll look forward to hearing some response here to his album.

Hmmm...bass player for the Beach Boys...some big tennies to fill.

I shoulda known, oh well haha

Sure, no problem. Here's a clip of him w/Mike & Bruce playing & singing lead on "Youre So Good To Me" if youre interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o04ouuEpX5U

I think Randall Kirsch (spelling?) is now playing bass instead of Chris (who isnt in the band anymore from what I heard, could be wrong). Randall does a pretty good falsetto when I saw them a couple times.

Chris and Mike Kowalski (the drummer) left around the same time. John Cowsill moved from keyboards to drums, Tim Bonhomme now plays two keyboards stacked on top of each other, Randell Kirsch from moved guitar to bass, and Christian Love, who used to only play acoustic, now mainly plays electric guitar.

Hi Tom, tell Chris he did a very good job. Cd arrived yesterday.  Even my wife thinks it is a nice cd ( and she doesnt like the bb music  Grin ) My favorite songs are Dont Worry baby and California Sleepwalking. The last song sounds a bit different than the version of the Surf city all stars.
