Just listening to it for the first time ever. HOLY MOLY if that isn't one of the lost 60's classics, I don't what is!! Inventive, fresh and damned out of this world. Wow. Puts anything J&D post 66 accident to shame.
It'll be nice when we can release the original masters, as opposed to the crappy acetate bootlegs.

Mark, what's holding it up at this point?
The masters are owned by Warner Bros., so I imagine it would be a Rhino release -- unless they farm it out.
I have the documentation and interview material (from my larger research) to write in-depth liner notes and a sessionohraphy for
Carnival of Sound.
Just waiting to be given the opportunity to do it.
