Did anyone else notice how much the "Sun, sun, sun, sun" part in that Sunrays song sounds like the "Sun, sun, sun" in "Here Comes The Sun"? Obviously not just cause it's the same word, but also because of the way it's sung... I wonder if George Harrison knew "I Live For The Sun" and if he was consciously or subconsciously inspired by it...

If so it wouldn't be the first time he was influenced by Sub-conscious plagiarism.  LOL

Yeah I also wondered about that.

Interestingly Jan & Dean's unreleased "Love & hate" features a melody where they sing "love, love, love" which sounds very much like the line in "All you need is love". So I guess it's just coincidence.... Or not ? Cheesy

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

"Love & Hate" was recorded in April 1967 . . . There is no "love, love, love" line in the song.

Many more instances of "hate" than "love."

Maybe I didn't rememebr correctly, but there definitely is a part, maybe just a chord with the word "love", that sounds very much like "All you need is love" (or vice versa).  Have to relisten to it. Thanks for the info
