I've posted two new recordings at:

www.myspace.com/thebeaumondes

"Changing Streets" is a midtempo song that I am pretty proud of. "Curses & Blessings" is an all-acoustic song. Both feature quite a bit of harmony vocals that (for a change) I did with someone else, with us singing harmony together into a single mic, as opposed to me overdubbing all the parts one at a time. (We worked on two others by the same method, and they will probably be done before long.)

These are the first two songs on my myspace media player. I hope you have a listen and let me know what you think.

While I'm at it, (I usually don't post on this board), I have to say I dig your work Luther. Among other things, I thought you did a splendid job on Time To Get Alone. If I was rich I would hire you to play at a party, as long as you snuck in that song.....keep up the good work. I like the lyrics to Changing Streets, but I like Curses and Blessings better. Reality is not a curse though it makes for a good song lyric.......reality is  Brian's Trip

Thanks for the post. On that lyric, I was thinking very situationally. In any given situation, reality or imagination may be a curse or a blessing. It's all a matter of the mind playing tricks throughout anticipation, the thing itself and memory. Glad you enjoyed the song.
