If you go to my blog via the above link, you can read the latest in a series about my adventures in Beach Boys Land.  In this episode, I meet Brian Wilson.

Nice Blog Josh. When I was in L.A., the Fire Department that is next to Brian's gated community invited us in to take a look at their observatory in back. I wondered which house was Brian's. If I had been in your shoes I probably would have ruined the moment by asking Brian if he wanted to smoke a joint and write a song with me. I would be the new Loren Schwartz. Being a musician as you are, did you get any "vibes" from Brian that he is still full of childlike curiosity and creativity? From your description of the inside of the home it sounds like Melinda has domestcized it and it lacks any of Brian's off the wall decorating that is common in a lot of musicians homes I have seen. I am happy for you.....but I am envious. More Brian blogs please.
