I don't think they're the same song.  But I don't know for sure.

"Basketball" is a different song - an unfinished basic track recorded in the spring of 1978.

Basketball Rock?!?!  But i LOVE basketball!  What is this song??  I mean, yes, it's a basic track recorded in 1978.  But...what does it sound like?  Who wrote it?  I must know!
