That's a neat story. It's refreshing to hear when one of your heroes turns out to be a kind, decent person instead of a disappointment.

Nice.  That sounds  a lot like the Al Jardine I have had the privilege to meet a few times myself.  Your summary of his personality rings pretty true to me at least, and I certainly DO NOT know him by any means.  Just lucky enough to have a few minutes here and there.

Ive met Al a couple of times + he was allways down to earth + friendly...Allways asked about harmonies on Surfer Girl + In my room.. Thx for posting the story..!!!!
