That's probably the problem. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be welcome. I'm not that technically proficient, so I don't know how to load the avatar through a new URL. |

I don't know if anyone else is affected by this, but all my image files have disappeared from freeimagehosting.net. The codes are all still there, but the images are gone. BIZARRE  I've since been using another file host. |

I've read every thing here, but I don't understand. I'm having a problem with adding an Avatar...on the old board, I could add it on the "profile" page, but I'm not seeing that here. I see a picture/text area, but it doesn't allow me to place an url inside it. Where can I add the avatar?

Your avatar must be online, not just on your computer.
After it's online, copy the URL of the pic, then come back here, hit profile, then Forum Profile Info on the left, then click on the I have my own pic box, paste your link in the space provided, and voila!

Charles (or is it Chuck), how about providing avatar hosting from this server, instead of having everyone link from everywhere else? That way avatar files won't suddenly disappear on us.
I'm not talking about photo hosting, just small avatar files.
