Song: Valentine's Day

I've recorded and shared this song of mine before.* However, a friend of mine sent me a pedal steel part, so I inserted it to the existing track today. I'd love to know what you think. (Iknow it still needs some mixing.)
*Probably more than once. The drums and bass date from my old band, Ellen Kay (recorded about a year and a half ago). I erased everything else and redid guitars, piano, organ and vocals last spring. And then today, after adding the pedal steel, i again erased and redid all vocals.

I'm a bit late on getting to some of these so the links expired, i'd love to hear a bit of pedal steel! Is there any chance or a re-upload?

I think I can manage that, yes. Here it is, complete with my friend Bob on pedal steel.

(Actually, I recommend pop fans look him up: myspace.com/bobparins. His album The Kissing Rocks is really fantastic stuff. Let me be clear, he's far, far, far better than me. So don't be afraid you're going to get more of my typical dreck by listening. He's a serious talent. Really good, and has credits with The Mendoza Line and Rufus Wainright, among others.)

By the way, thanks to 83 or so people for viewing this thread, and, if you've listened, for listening. But I'd also be extremely grateful if many of you would comment in addition to viewing. Positive, negative, somewhere in between...anything.

The song is now also posted on myspace.com/thebeaumondes (along with three others that have probably been posted here).
Feel free to go there to listen. And comment (here, there or everywhere).

I saw that. I agree on the pedal steel--Bob's quite a musician. His own stuff is much more quirky power pop, but he was nice enough to do that for me.
