Is it true that there is an updated version of Brad Elliott's book apparently published in 2003? If so, what's new in the book?

Is that a book on the album 'Surf's Up', or the song, or just a general BB related book?

Is it any good? I generally most interested in the SMiLE period and the years thereafter leading up to Holland - a good read re this particular period?

More  a discography/sessions guide than a read.
It's very good but the info. finishes in  early 80's so is incomplete.
My copy lives in my bathroom, such is frequency of use.

No, more like because it was published at about that time. Kinda hard to write about something that doesn't yet exist.

An update was planned a couple of years ago, but it never came to pass. Other intersting sections of the book: Radioshows and discographies of Bruce, Van Dyke Parks et al.
