Brian Wilson collaboration with Carole King?

In Back To The Beach on page 209 it states:
"And he [meaning Brian] plays the new song he recently wrote with Carole King on his piano."
Does anybody know what this is like has their been any mention of it elsewhere or anything? I've never heard any mention of a song written with Carole King before but would be interested in hearing more about it, even if it isn't released.

That should have read: "And he plays the new song he recently wrote, 'With Carole King on His Piano'."
"With Carole King on his piano
He's sure having fun fun fun
Thinking of ways
Of writing rousing new Number Ones"
Music: Wilson, Lyrics: Love, Kennedy, Almer, Reiley, Parks, Love, Melcher, Love, McCartney, Ono and Love
Sorry, I'm bored waiting to go to Uni, but if any knows the real answer I am curious to find out.

Brian wrote a song while Carole King was sitting on his piano?
Maybe he's found his muse

On the American Spring album was at least one song written by Carole King and since Brian had a hand in producing the album this is the only connection I could find on the top of my head.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Thanks Rocker maby that is it. I mean Im sure we would have heard of something about it by now if it were certain. Unless there is a song that nobody has ever heard. But still from memory the article is from the Sweet Insanity-era so I can't see why he would mention that (if it was the Spring track) when the Spring album was years beforehand

No, the CK collaboration was recent, like in the last three/four years. The
Spring
tracks were covers.

2002, if I remember correctly.
There was another collaboration with Carole King during the Wilson-Bennett sessions in September 2006 mentioned here:

Well the article that I quoted from was Dec 12th 1991 so maby it was another collaboration? And I think Rocker was struggling to find a connection between a BW-CK collaboration and so figured that maby the author got mixed up thinking it was a collaboration between them, atleast thats what Im guessing Rocker was thinking.

Interesting lines.
"After a 30-year hiatus, Wilson's career is now flourishing. This is a recording session for his next album, taking place in the bedroom of his producer and band director, Scott Bennett."
Producer and band director? Wouldn't co-producer (if that; maybe just co-writer, as we know) and band member be more accurate?

Don't know if it could be considered a collaboration but both were on the recent CD "New Music from an Old Friend".

I do remember reading an interview with Brian with him saying something about Carole King dancing to one of his songs in front of him, for some reason my mind seems to tell me it's 'Ding Dang' but that would be too crazy!
