I just recently bought a copy of the re-release of pet sounds that came with So Tough, I'd always heard it called the brown cover...it's really nothing special...anyone want me to post a pic of it?

Didn't the CATP/PS 2-er come in a double sleeve as oposed to 2 different sleeves?  (My records are downstairs and I'm too lazy to check) The picture you posted was, I think,  a single record mid-70's reissue of PS.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Thanks for posting that photo! I've always loved that backcover design showing the spilled peanut bag (a perfect compliment to the admittedly bizarre original cover photo), but haven't had a chance to see it in 30 years. The Beach Boys had some pretty good art direction in the early 70s.

I have a copy of Carl and the Passions- So Tough that's just the single LP without the Pet Sounds re-issue. I think that's worth owning more than the 2-fer with Pet Sounds. The # is K44184.
Here's a pic of the back cover- http://65.54.169.249/att/GetAttachment.aspx?file=2664e523-1254-4054-9250-5b8ebebf1a87.jpg&ct=aW1hZ2UvanBlZw_3d_3d&name=MTAtMDQtMDdfMTIwNS5qcGc_3d&inline=1&rfc=0&empty=False&imgsrc=cid%3a696&hm__login=kookadams&hm__domain=hotmail.com&ip=10.1.106.212&d=d3718&mf=0&hm__ts=Thu%2c%2004%20Oct%202007%2019%3a08%3a10%20GMT&hm__ha=b57564a372e0a76f73882237af35704c1a470fb3&oneredir=1

Thanks. I just wasn't sure if it was released in the UK or not, because my dad (who bought all the Beach Boys vinyls that we own since i was too young) usually bought them from the UK, but obviously this one he must have bought from the US
