Obviously its pretty easy to find US and UK chart positions for singles but is there a convenient place to find chart positions for Beach Boys singles/albums in other countries besides those two places.. I mean there is a few okay websites which have a few stats here and there but they are mostly incomplete and usually barely go back past 1990 etc.. So is there a book or a really good website with all this information in it that anyone could recommend?

not a website that I know of....but with many countries/nationalities present on this board, it might be a nice idea to try and get as many chartslists on this topic possible.

I could track down the Dutch single charts for sure. Album-charts might be a bit more difficult.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Whoa...did Summer In Paradise really chart on the Swiss charts?  That's the only chart appearance of that album that I've heard of.  I'm not bashing the album; I love it.  But that's really surprising to me.

Does anyone know if it charted elsewhere?

I can't believe nothing of Dennis and Carl has charted anywhere on those lists! Was 'Forever' released on a single anywhere? Come on! What is wrong with record companies! What is wrong with record buyers! What is wrong with Mike Love! Oh sorry got carried away.

Whoa...did Summer In Paradise really chart on the Swiss charts?  That's the only chart appearance of that album that I've heard of.

It also charted in Germany. I guess we can thank John Stamos & "Forever" for that.

German album charts:

1965 ----- 14 ----- The Beach Boys Today!
1965 ----- 14 ----- The Beach Boys' Concert
1965 ----- 18 -----Summer Days & Summer Nights
1966 ----- 4 ----- Beach Boys' Party!
1966 ----- 6 ----- Surf Beat Fun
1966 ----- 12 ----- Pet Sounds
1968 ----- 20 ----- Wild Honey
1968 ----- 24 ----- Girls
1969 ----- 23 ----- 20/20
1977 ----- 2 ----- Die 20 größten Hits
1985 ----- 60 ----- The Beach Boys '85
1989 ----- 26 ----- Still Cruisin'
1993 ----- 81 ----- Summer In Paradise

Brian Wilson:

2004 ----- 61 ----- Gettin' In Over My Head
2004 ----- 22 ----- Smile

Thanks for the info.  I find it interesting that in Germany the only post Pet Sounds albums to chart are Wild Honey, The Beach Boys (1985) [that's a big gap], Still Cruisin and Summer In Paradise.  Were all the other studio albums released in Germany?

20/20 did also chart. I guess the post PET SOUNDS albums were all released in Germany, but I don't know for sure. Holland certainly was (first pressing with "We Got Love").

They also didn't have a single in the Top 100 between "Cotton Fields" & "Wipe Out":

Fun, Fun, Fun --- #49 --- 1964
I Get Around --- #38 --- 1964
Little Honda --- #44 --- 1965
Help Me, Rhonda --- #10 --- 1965
California Girls --- #30 --- 1965
Barbara Ann --- #2 --- 1966
Sloop John B --- #1 --- 1966
God Only Knows --- #22 --- 1966
Good Vibrations --- #8 --- 1967
Wendy --- #36 or 37 --- 1967
Then I Kissed Her --- #39 --- 1967
Heroes And Villains --- #34 --- 1967
Do It Again --- #4 --- 1968
I Can Hear Music --- #13 --- 1969
Break Away --- #29 --- 1969
Cotton Fields --- #29 --- 1970
Wipeout [w/ The Fat Boys] --- #30 --- 1987
Kokomo --- #7 --- 1989
Don't Worry Baby [w/The Everly Brothers] --- #41 --- 1989
Still Cruisin' --- #51 --- 1989
Hot Fun In The Summertime --- #75 --- 1993
