My drummer was good enough to go through a few songs with me last week--hence the new batch. Bear with me.

This one is my initial mix of "Growing a Mustache," which in parts is as silly as it seems. If a song whose lyrics mix an internal debate about growing a mustache, randomly naming superheroes and general self-doubt doesn't sound like your bag, well...ah, don't worry--I'm sure this song doesn't have that kind of lyrics!

I really would like to hear your comments or criticisms.

The song is the first one posted at:

*lol* I really like that "might look gay, but that's okay"-part  Cheesy

I think the vocals need more power (that is, need to be mixed a little louder) and the cymbal kinda annoys me. Again, just my opinion, means nothing...

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Thx for the feedback. I don't think anyone has ever told me to mix the voice louder! I usually swing the other way, making it way too loud. I'll give another few listens to see what I think about the drum/cymbals, but I only used three tracks for drums, so I am not sure what I can do, whether with volume, some eq or something else.

btw, the line was the first of the song. I was listening to the freddie mercury collection, the cover of which has one of those mid-80s photos of him.
