Nice.

Because you said it's a demo, I'm just going to comment on the song itself, not the performance or recording (in terms of engineering/production).

My only real suggestion for the song would be to add another section to it, because with a verse that is basically just the two chords repeating, the song feels pretty long otherwise. Another section in there could break it up a bit more--possibly either before or after the verse that currently ends just after the two minute mark. Then after that new section (or if you put it before that verse, then after that), I'd leave it at a refrain out.

But read this with the understanding that I am a short-song kind of person. So if you aren't, feel free to ignore me.

I like the vocal "percussion" in there, and the intro background vocals are really nice too. I could see the refrain sounding great on a finished product. Very BIG.

Nice song Richard, sort of Byrdsy a little bit. I like the production too, nice and dry, especially like the drum sound!

I'm normally a short song person too,  I hardly ever break the 3 min barrier :-)

Yep, I always sound byrdsy , it's the rickie.
Really, you like the drum sound?  I just put an overhead up as it's a demo and threw a dyanmic in the kick. And it's my son's cheapy battered drum kit with mutes on.   Cheesy
