hello,
sorry if this is the wrong forum, and if this is a dumb question, but i have this version of Good Vibrations that claims to be a stereo version(I know no true stereo version exists). So im wondering where it came from? The vocals at the end of the first chorus dont cut off,  the word excitations is drawn out into the second verse instead of being cut off like the released version. Also, theres more vocals at the last break before the cello and drums come back in at the very end. Is this just two different takes(an earlier one, and the released version) Edited together? If so, does anyone know which take was used for the extra vocals?

Yeah, it's the released version, in mono, in one ear and the rareities version, mono again, in the other. I've always liked the ending on the rareities version better and this mix of the two really makes it great!

If any of you are interested, I'll pm you an MP3 of a true stereo GV hit version I have been tinkering on via OOP vox. I categorize it in the "interesting but not a replacement to the mono mix" version ala the officially relaesed stereo remixes of other songs. While not an exact replica of the mono nuances, it come purty darned close. The chorus will definitely surprise you. 3D

I have just finished tinkering on a stereo Cabinessence with centered vocals and a very prominent Dennis on the second chorus. Sounds mad on headphones. I personally never liked the delayed LR mono to faux stereo vocals. Thanks to all who liked the GV version I did. I'll now just wait from the BRI lawyers. 3D
