I wonder if there were any attempts to play TLGIOK live in the 60s when it was the current single, before "Barbara Ann" was released. It sounds too complex for the touring group, but so did "Good vibrations" and they made it.
And what about "The warmth of the sun"? They played it quite regularly in the late 60s, but what about the time when it came out?

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I don't think so, but they played You're So Good To Me quite often.

When Bruce sat in with Tony Rivers alongside Keith Moon, Rivers' band played it, but Bruce didn't have a clue how to, which would suggest that Little Girl I Once Knew wasn't in the set.

Fred Vail told me no but I think if they had sang it on either Andy Williams or Jack Benny it would have charted higher.
