It  came out in 1964 and was already on sale by Nov 1 (I have a Nov 4 paper advertising it for sale)- so all the interviews are from October 1964 or earlier.   One of the articles shows that the BBs played a show in Amarillo, Texas. Unfortunately, I lookled thru many Amarillo papers (I checked all the times they were in the area) and found no mentions.

Just wanted to point out that Warnakey did  a GREAT job of posting the FIRST TeenSet issue, back in 2007. 
It's a wonder what a SEARCH can do....
