Just interested in seeing some WC pictures in the studio with Brian. Any links?

Geez...The link above substitute "wrecking" for "foda".

Go figure! Roll Eyes

I haven't really been able to find any substantial pictures of Brian recording tracks, but if you go to michaelochsarchives.com and search for phil spector there are some good ones with Phil, the righteous brothers and stuff.  And if you search for specific members by name, there are some nice pictures.

I hope to find just one picture of a Beach Boys tracking session featuring good, wide-angle pictures of the session musicians in the studio before I die.

Thanks for the tip.
Plenty of "shy" Phil. Why the lack of Brian/ Beach Boys studio pictures I wonder?

The only photos I can recall of Brian in the studio with the "Wrecking Crew" were the "SMiLE"-era shots (all Jasper Dailey's, probably).  First saw them in "Look Listen Vibrate SMiLE", then saw them in color in one (or more) of the documentaries.

Unless you count Hal Blaine being in some of the shots of the "Party!" sessions.

Hal has one with Brian in the control both in his book.

I know Hal has a newer book...is it a reprint or a revision of his 1990 book?
BTW, that 1990 one had a shot of Hal sitting next to Brian at the piano from the "SMiLE" era
(although the caption read "circa 1964").

On Hal's website it says he is compiling an ultimate scrapbook of his studio pictures for release in 2008...

I have pics of the entire wrecking crew individually, but no real group shots.

If you would like those let me know.

Oh, but there are...pictures of Brian with Hal Blaine, Lyle Ritz, Ray Pohlman, Jim Gordon, Bill Pitman, and Glen Campbell.  And Larry Levine and Chuck Britz.  From the "SMiLE" sessions.  Jasper Dailey and/or Guy Webster shots, I believe.  Pictures from the sessions for "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" (with the fire hats),  "Heroes And Villains", "Surf's Up", Dennis' "We Don't Know", and "Love To Say DaDa".  Most are in the Priore book (Black & White), and some are in color in the various video documentaries.

Most of the photos from that period were taken by Jasper Dailey, so it makes sense to assume he wouldn't ask for a group shot.
