This subject remains murky- but I have uncovered some new details.  After obtaining a long Earl Leaf article from right after the tour and listening to the outtakes of Bull Session With the Big Daddy, plus looking thru various world papers from Nov 1964 I can say the following.
1) The Beach Boys were in Europe for about 23 Days.  They were back in the USA by Nov 25 1964 when they played at the Auditorium Theater in Rochester, NY (I have the ads).
2) The Beach Boys app on the French TV show Age Tendre was broadcast on Nov 10 (not as listed by Keith Badman Nov 18)- the TV listing in Le Figaro list the show and the BBs by name.  The group also appeared on a show aired on Nov 15-where they were interviewed while watching painters- perhaps taped the same day
3) Earl Leaf states in the article and the Bull Session that he was at the Olympia show in Paris. He also states that he returned home while the group was still in Coppenhagen. This means that the Olympia show took place before the BBs visit to Denmark- hence probably before Nov 18. I have not found an ad for the Olympia show. Leaf states that the Olympia sold out on the basis of one radio ad- so there may have been no print ads. Leaf suggests in the article that the BBs played the show and appeared on TV on the same Paris visit- suggesting that the Olympia show may have been Nov 9, 10 or 11  (rather than on Nov 18 as listed by Badman)
4) Earl Leaf states categorically that the BBs only played shows in Stockholm and Paris- hence Badman' s mention of concerts in Dublin, Germany, Italy and Denmark are all wrong
Leaf says point blank that they only visited Germany and Italy for promotion (TV and radio) and sightseeing.   Cities visited were Munich, Berlin, Rome, Coppenhagen. Leaf states that the BBs flew from Rome to Munich on a 6 PM flight but gives no exact day.  Leaf also states that the BBs played "no shows in the British isles" that includes Dublin.
5) Badman had access to the BBC files and is correct that the BBs were in the UK 8 days, after that his sources are not so good. Just as an example- The Piper Club that he says the BBs played in Milan- didn't open til 1965
6) A capitol memo says the BBs appeared on RAI TV in Italy and also were scheduled to visit Amsterdam
7) A radio interview done in Stockholm shows that the BBs had already visited Germany before Sweden. Radio interview dated Nov 16-not sure if that date is correct
