The Japanese release of BWPS contains 2 bonustracks: Cabin Essence and H&V, both instrumental versions....sort of...some background vocals here and there.
The vinyl release of BWPS even has 4 bonus instrumentals: again CE and H&V (and again some bv's but different from the cd-release) + On A Holiday and Wind Chimes
Also released as instrumentals (from BWPS, on several cd-singles and on a bonus-cd): Roll Plymouth Rock, In Blue Hawaii, Surf's Up

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Thanks smile-holland. By the way, I dont know if anyone else has noticed this but on the Sea of Tunes bootlegs some of the tracks are split tracks (ie: vocals in one side/backing tracks in the other) so you can get more backing tracks & a capellas that way and of course you can get the backing tracks for pretty much all the songs that have the tracking sessions available on them. Heres some that I've found so far that are binaural (split) tracks:

*The Surfer Moon (backing track)
*The Surfer Moon (a capella)
*Your Summer Dream (a capella)
*Do You wanna Dance (a capella)
*Hawaii (a capella)
*South Bay Surfer (backing track)
*The Baker Man (a capella)
*Surfers Rule (a capella)
*Lana (backing track)
*Girls On the Beach (a capella)
*Ganz Allein (a capella)
*Drive-In (a capella)

I havent checked all of them yet but Im sure there is more. Of course on most of these (though not all) there is SOME music/vocals in the background but its still a nice way to hear the backing tracks/a capella's whereas you wouldnt be able to usually. I especially like it on the "Surfer Moon (2nd stereo vocal mix)" when in the right channel it has Brian's lead only and in the left channel it has the backing (sung by Brian himself) but he sings in a different key and in some cases follows a different melody line. Very interesting to hear these sorts of things. Also on the Sea of Tunes Pet Sounds sessions in one channel you can hear the double-tracked vocal and in the opposite channel you can hear them as they actually sound! Great stuff
