Thanks, Halleluwah!  Grin

Umm, on the John/Elvis thing, I don't really have too much to say. I think they were equal talent-wise, from a vocal perspective. I personally dig Elvis better, but I think John was just as talented at what he did. Maybe a little less polished, maybe a little less in tune with his powers, he certainly has nowhere near the volume of great music, but when he was on, singing has never been better.
I'd stack up Twist And Shout, Yer Blues, You Really Got A Hold On Me, A Day In The Life, Isolation, #9 Dream, Stand By Me, Gimme Some Truth, Nobody Loves You When You're Down And Out and This Boy up with anything Elvis did on a vocal level.

I would add Money and Leave My Kitten Alone to your list of vocals.  But I certainly think Elvis was far more flexible and had a better pure singing voice.  But on rock tracks John was Elvis' peer.

Technically, I agree, Elvis definitely the better singer in that regard. But both voices speak to the heart and soul, which is what it's all about (along with the Hokey Pokey).
