Just got back from a Mike and Bruce show, afternoon one at Mohegan Sun in CT. Have to say it was one of the better shows I have seen them do. Harmonies were pretty tight, the setlist was very surprising, and the band members really shined. The other guys did most of the leads. Not too much talking by Mike either(always a plus). Bruce did not seem himself, voice was very rough, and at one point Mike had to tell him to sing in the mic. Maybe he was feeling under the weather? Mike's voice good on some, weak on others. Impressed with Christian. Mike held up his cell phone during God Only Knows and In My Room- a little annoying! Show was a little short, but very enjoyable. Pretty sure I got the setlist right
Setlist:
1. California Girls
2. Wouldn't It Be Nice
3. Why Do Falls In Love
4. Then I Kissed Her(Christian-awesome!

I like that setlist! Whose part did Christian sing on "Getcha Back"?

I liked the setlist alot too. Christian sang his dad's part on Getcha Back and was great on it! Last time I heard Mike do it, he sounded tired on it. Christian added new life into it and also sounded shockingly like Alan on Then I Kissed Her.

Christian...also sounded shockingly like Alan on Then I Kissed Her.

I'm a little surprised Christian is handling this one. A few years ago I heard Chris Farmer sing lead on "Then I Kissed Her" and he was excellent. I'm sure Christian does fine, though...

tp? The show was short?! With that setlist, how could it be? Curious about your answer.

I know, it was 90 minutes..exactly! The normal casino show, although the past few times at that venue they have been 2 hours. The songs were done very rapid fire, not much Mike talking. I think thats what it made it seems so quick. The setlist was awesome

After the last show we saw, my wife said she thought the show was shorter than usual. This was last Sept., so you are most likely correct. I lose all sense of time during shows I like so much. Don't wear a watch much either.
