i just got word on imdb.com that Mel Brooks is in pre-production for Get Smart, with Steve Carell as Maxwell Smart, what's everyone think of that?

As a child, I loved the show on Nick at Nite.  I had heard rumors about Carell maybe being in a remake.

I'd pay to see it...don't think they could live up to the original show...but it'd still be a must-see for me.

I like Steve Carrell but I dont know how I feel about this...hopefully I'll be wrong.

Although, I'd prefer to see him in this than the sequel to Bruce Almighty...Razz
