I'm not buying it for you or anything  Roll Eyes but just wondered if anyone had asked for anything specific etc.?

I'm FINALLY going to get round tho purchasing Stars & Stripes on DVD, possibly even 25 Years Together. I have them on video but I might as well fork out for the DVDs...

I wish the now allegedly missing "Brian - Dumb Angel" master tape from Ed Roach's famous Brother Archive photo for Christmas. Signed by Brian and Al.
Or a pressing of HOLLAND with "We Got Love" would also be cool.

I've asked for the "rise fall and redemption of Brian Wilson" for Christmas. If nobody gives it to me, I'll go out and get it myself.

I asked for that too.  Looking forward to reading it!

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I put it on the turntable and wound it round backwards.......sounds like "turn me on dead man to some steak and cake and Marlboros" to me but it could be just "number nine" or something.

Nope - so's he can go out at the top (or at the top-ish) and with dignity intact. Maybe it's only a sample of one, but the gig I saw this year, he sang better the first set than he did for Pet Sounds.
