How come my greeting tells me I have two messages, but when I check, there aren't any?

I have this same thing, btw. I've had it for months, but mostly ignored it. However I just decided to look into it, and when I was going to post, I found this similar problem. Anyone?

You might have to click on the message (subject) thats labeled as "New" then the board will identify that you read it.

Not sure if this will fix it.

I couldnt actually see the phantom two messages--the "You have new messages" thing just said I had two. When I'd click on Inbox it was empty.

Hmm, strange. Im sure this has happened to me before but I cant remember how I resolved it. Are there any messages in your inbox? If so try "Click All" and then "Mark as Read"

If you have more than one page of messages, they could be lost somewhere in a back page.

It is pretty bizarre. I have no messages at all other than the two phantom ones, and the only place it says I have those is where it says

Personal Messages: 2
New Personal Messages: 0

Inbox, New Messages, Prune Messages...anything where I attempt to view or delete them, I can't even see them. All empty.

Weird.
