Erik Satie "Gymnopédie 1"
A good friend of mine just performed this last Thrusday as part of his senior recital. It was the perfect choice for his 5th or 6th piece, as it finally gave everyone the opportunity to catch their breath. A lovely work.

Yes, I know the piece quite well.  It was one of my final exam pieces from my Grade 8, Royal Conservatory of Music practical exam.
