So, who has purchased tickets and for which venues? I bought tickets for the DC show, orchestra seating, sixteen rows from the stage. Anyone here going to this one? This will be my first time seeing Brian in concert (and Al for that matter). How hard is it to meet Brian and the band?

Got tickets for the Boston show online.  There were only single floor seats when they went on sale, which was so frustrating!

Saw Brian's show last year and managed to sneak backstage with a friend of Darian's.  Darian is a great guy, very down-to-earth and super-friendly.  Had the chance to meet Brian, but the whole thing was so surreal, I was worried I'd freak out in front of him so I declined!!!  My sis and girlfriend went over to meet him.  Jeff (who they said was very nice) brought them to Brian, who was sitting at a desk signing some stuff.  Jeff said, "Hey Brian, say hi to a few friends of Darian's."  And Brian turned around and gave a nice "Hi!"  Cool experience, despite my wimping out.

Going to Glenside-my first concert there but have seen Brian solo mant times-best chance of meeting Brian is at the soundcheck if you can get in-alot of it depends on how tight or lax security is at the theatre-

Couldn't get tickets for the London show.

When I saw Brian on the first SMiLE tour a few lucky souls in the front row got to shake his hand and he said "hi" to two or three of them.

I've read plenty of reports of people who lucked into staying in the same hotel as the band, and enjoying spending time with them...even singing and strumming guitars...

I guess I'll just do my best to get there a little early and hope for the best. I've been told it's pretty easy to meet the band, a little harder to meet Brian.

I'm hearing possibly no meet-n-greets.

London 2002 & 2004, it was sometimes hard to avoid hanging out with the band post show - most every night, Probyn, Darian, Nelson and maybe Scotty would schlep on down to the Travel Inn and mingle. Good, good people.

I'm seeing it in NYC at the Beacon Theater.

From what I can tell, I'm sitting in the 11th row, center.

Not too shabby!

Going to the UCLA show.  Saw Brian solo at the Wiltern and at the Roxy for the live CD recording.  Met Brian 3 times, twice at "signings", once backstage  at a BB's show in Torrance in '94 (He was there but didn't play).  Met Darian once at Disneyland, by chance.  Nice guy.

If they'd come anywhere near Florida, I'd be all over it. But alas, no :/

I'm going with my son to the first night at the Beacon.  Before the show I'll be at The West Side Brewery on Amsterdam Ave and 76th St.  It has the best selection of micro brews on tap in the City.  The food is pretty good too.  Hope to see some of you there.

I heard that the only time "Pet Sounds" will be performed is at the show in the UK, and one in the US. Is this true? If so, this means a greatest hits setlist then? I don't care either way, just curious
